ABOUT
AABAN is a private, independent non-profit association of business angels based in Seville, operating since 2014 per its website. Andalusian startups apply through its website, are screened by a selection committee and present at investment forums to members, who then invest alone, in syndicates or through a vehicle; AABAN takes no commission on investments or exits. In early 2018 its vice-president said the association had grown from eight founders to 42 members (individuals, companies and institutions) and had financed, and in some cases advised, more than 30 Andalusian startups with €10,000–200,000 each. It only backs projects with origin and decision-making in Andalusia.
