Overview
Anthos Fund & Asset Management was founded in 1929 to invest the wealth of the Brenninkmeijer family, founders of the C&A retail business, and is part of COFRA Holding alongside Bregal Investments and Redevco. It now provides values-based asset management, OCIO and investment advisory services to faith-based organisations, foundations, families and institutions, selecting external managers across absolute return, equities, fixed income, real estate, private equity and impact. It began investing in private equity in 2010, launched its first dedicated impact fund in 2012 and became a certified B Corp in 2024. About 65 people work at its Amsterdam office.
