Overview
Athman Holding is a Saudi closed joint-stock company in Riyadh, founded in 2021 by sons of the late Sheikh Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Alrajhi, that invests the capital of a defined group of family members only. It owns and governs two vehicles: Athman Investments, a Saudi LLC for Saudi public and private opportunities, and Athman Global Investments, a Cayman Islands company for markets abroad. It invests in public equities, private equity, venture capital, real estate and Shariah-compliant fixed income, directly where it has conviction and through specialist managers, particularly in real estate and private markets. It does not manage money for other Alrajhi branches, other families or outside investors.
Investment thesis
Approaches each investment as the purchase of a whole business rather than a position to trade; favours durable assets and capable, aligned management, Shariah-compliant, long-term, and only at a price that leaves a margin of safety.
