Overview

Finanziaria Internazionale was founded in Conegliano on 17 April 1980 by Enrico Marchi as Finvest S.r.l. Its banking activities became Banca Finint in 2014; at end-2025 the participations holding Finint S.p.A. held 88.53% of the bank, and Banca Finint's 2025 report refers separately to the “Gruppo Finanziaria Internazionale Holding”. In April 2017 Enrico Marchi, through his companies Giovanni Marchi and Aprile, agreed to buy the 50% of Finanziaria Internazionale Holding S.p.A. owned by the other shareholder, Andrea de Vido; the holding then controlled Save, a listed airport operator, and Banca Finanziaria Internazionale, and Marchi agreed at the same time to sell the controlling stake in Save to a company jointly controlled by him and infrastructure funds managed by Deutsche Asset Management and InfraVia. Enrico Marchi chairs Banca Finint and Save S.p.A.
