Overview
J. Stern & Co. was founded in London in 2012, building on the banking history of the Stern family dating to 1805, and is a privately owned partnership with significant Stern family capital invested. It runs actively managed global equity, hard-currency corporate and emerging-market bond, and multi-asset strategies for institutions, wealth managers, family offices and private clients, and states it is not a family office. It reports about US$2.6bn of assets under management and advice and has offices in London, New York, Zurich and Malta. In July 2026 it agreed to combine its Swiss business with Geneva asset manager bvo capital, subject to FINMA approval.
