Jebsen Asset Management (JAM) was established in 2005 by the Kristian Gerhard Jebsen Group (KGJG), the family-owned shipping group behind Kristian Gerhard Jebsen Skipsrederi. Since 2013 it has run the KGJ Partnership programme, which gives professional investors access to international private equity with KGJG as anchor investor; seven fund-of-funds have been set up so far. It commits to buyout funds in Western Europe and North America and co-invests alongside its fund managers, and is a registered AIFM supervised by the Financial Supervisory Authority of Norway.
