Overview

PFC (Partners For Change) is the single family office of Paolo Marzotto’s branch of the Marzotto textile family, based in Milan. Created when Paolo Marzotto, his wife and daughters left the Marzotto Group, it held listed equities and a stake in Valentino Fashion Group (sold in 2012) and remained a shareholder of Hugo Boss; in 2016 it became a family office and later shifted its strategy to social and environmental impact. It invests in large-cap listed equities and green bonds, in private equity and infrastructure funds, and co-invests directly in small and mid-sized buyouts, alongside a philanthropy programme. It says it does not pursue venture capital.

Investment thesis

Investments with clear sustainability or impact outcomes across themes such as education, preventive healthcare, healthy food and water, circular production, clean energy, land and ocean regeneration and independent media; co-investments in small to mid-sized private buyouts; no venture capital.
