Abeille Assurances, formerly Aviva France, is a French insurer acquired by Aéma Groupe in 2021. In April 2024 it said its private equity allocation, including infrastructure equity, was about €700M at book value (over €1bn at market value), mostly European mid and large-cap buyout funds, with growth and venture pockets developed through the Tibi initiative; it backs about eight new funds a year. Its 2026 Article 29 report lists holdings including funds managed by Ardian, Eurazeo, PAI Partners, BlackFin, Jeito, Red River West and Bpifrance (LAC I), plus impact and climate funds such as Abeille Impact Investing France and Alliance for Impact.
