ABOUT
Ingenii SGR is an independent Milan asset management company set up by a group of managers with experience in finance and credit; the co-founders and managers listed on its site come largely from the Banca Popolare di Milano / Banco BPM group. It manages closed-end alternative investment funds reserved to professional investors that make medium- and long-term direct loans to Italian SMEs, always backed by the public guarantee of the Fondo di Garanzia managed by Mediocredito Centrale. Its first fund, Ingenii Sviluppo Impresa, was launched in November 2022 with €120m, and a second fund, Ingenii Open Finance, had raised about €100m of a €120m target by April 2023; one Italian bank anchored each fund.
