Overview

Prudentia Capital is an independent Paris portfolio management company authorised by the AMF in August 2017; its 2018 release named three founding partners and owners — Dominik Zwerger (former deputy secretary-general of the ministry of economy's CIRI restructuring committee), Douglas Rosefsky and Roland Germain (former CEO of the Geoxia housebuilding group). Its funds invest €2M–€30M in French SMEs and mid-caps with €10M–€100M revenue, outside the intermediated LBO market: family successions, governance simplification, capital increases, carve-outs and growth projects. Portfolio companies include Groupe Arjobex (Polyart synthetic paper, carved out of Arjowiggins in 2019), Groupe Synergie Cad, the Amnéville zoo, Groupe George Mathai, Ambonati Industries and Les Nouvelles Menuiseries Grégoire. In a March 2026 parliamentary hearing Dominik Zwerger said the firm had invested in six companies and was raising a new fund.

Investment thesis

Transformation and growth of French SMEs and mid-caps (revenue €10M–€100M) outside the classic intermediated LBO market — family successions, simplification of governance, capital increases, sales of non-strategic assets and specific growth projects — with a 100-day plan and an 18-month transformation plan built with management, and support for international expansion.
