ABOUT

SeedMoney grew out of a group of entrepreneurs and investors active in startups since 2013 (Seed Venture Partners) and was incorporated as Seed Money S.r.l. in 2016 to widen the base through a community of shareholders, business angels and managers. Three equity-crowdfunding rounds brought the shareholder base to 467 holders, and the company invests its own capital in startups and offers co-investment to members. It reports 40+ startups accelerated in its 2016–25 cycle and two exits (CleanBnB, GasGas). Most of its holdings were transferred into Nova Ventures, a Milan pre-seed platform it set up as a joint venture with Open Seed, while it still holds four startups directly; it has also invested in the US seed fund The Rebel Fund.

INVESTMENT THESIS

Early-stage investment and co-investment with members, now aiming to give its community access to selected early-stage deals in Italy and international ecosystems (Europe, US, Israel, Latin America).
