Overview
Catalytic Ventures is an impact investment club launched in early 2026 by Open Value Foundation, the family foundation of María Ángeles León and Francisco García Paramés. It brings together business angels, family offices and foundations who choose deal by deal which social enterprises to invest in, while the club handles analysis, investment, monitoring and exit. It targets scalable social enterprises with annual revenue above €250,000 in Spain, Latin America, Sub-Saharan Africa and Southeast Asia, using equity, convertible or participative loans and revenue-based financing. Its first two investments, announced in July 2026, were loans to B de Bocata (€150,000) and Filantrópico (€100,000).
