The Clube Business Angels Viseu Dão Lafões was created within AIRV – Associação Empresarial da Região de Viseu on 26 June 2013 to develop business angel activity and support the regional economy. It offers its member angels investment opportunities in companies and business projects, and gives entrepreneurs access to private investors who also bring sector experience and contacts. Projects are submitted through a form on its page, pre-qualified, analysed by a team of specialists and then put to a vote of the members in general assembly, followed by due diligence and contracting; the process takes 8 to 12 weeks on average. It follows a code of conduct aligned with EBAN practices.
