ABOUT
Atresmedia, the Spanish television and radio group (Antena 3, laSexta, Onda Cero), takes equity stakes in high-growth startups in exchange for advertising on its channels and stations, a line run by its Atresmedia Diversificación division. At its start Atresmedia said it acted like a venture capital firm with an expected holding period of about three years, and its first holdings included Wallapop, Promofarma, Groupalia and i-neumáticos. Its best-known investment was Fever, entered in 2015 and fully sold in 2026, after partial sales in 2023 and 2024. Its 2025 sustainability report names Cuideo, Durcal and Saldados as holdings and describes a focus on the “silver economy” and services for seniors and vulnerable people.
