Overview

Inversiones Santa Cecilia is José Yuraszeck's family office, according to Diario Financiero (August 2025). It began investing in alternative assets in 2015 and added venture capital three years later, first leading rounds in local startups and later diversifying into fintech, marketplaces, proptech, foodtech and micromobility. Since 2019 it has committed to five funds in the region, the US and Israel, as well as secondaries, and holds eight direct early-stage startup stakes, including Forest (and its spin-off Admoai), WhereX, Atomic Kitchens and Open Casa. In 2025 its CIO said it was near its exposure limit for startups and would prioritise exits.

Investment thesis

Venture capital as part of an alternatives allocation: direct early-stage tickets in Chile and above all Brazil plus fund commitments; in 2025 prioritising exits before accelerating new startup investments.
