Overview
Narmo Capital was the family office of the Al Omran Group and, according to its founding partner and CEO Fahad AlOmran in a 2017 Global Finance interview, has since taken on several other family clients in the GCC. It described three buckets: market-correlated beta strategies through ETFs, short-duration alpha such as risk arbitrage, and longer-duration venture capital leaning to fintech, big data and machine learning. In 2024 the Saudi Capital Market Authority announced that a Narmo Capital Company had completed the requirements to conduct investment management under a licence approved in October 2023.
Investment thesis
Beta strategies via ETFs for yield and low volatility, short-duration alpha (risk arbitrage, M&A), and longer-duration venture capital in fintech, big data and machine learning.
