Overview

uniVersa is a Nürnberg insurance group made up of uniVersa Krankenversicherung a.G., uniVersa Lebensversicherung a.G. and uniVersa Allgemeine Versicherung AG, tracing its origins to 1843. The health insurer's investments rose to €7,241.5M at end-2025, of which €1,790.2M (24.7%) were participations, increased in 2025 by new international infrastructure, private equity and private debt commitments made mainly through its master fund for alternative investments. Its holdings list names funds from managers including Crown, Solutio, Golding, Montagu, Unigestion, Ardian, Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners, GIP, KKR, Macquarie and ICG, plus the Berlin health-tech VC fund heal.capital I.
