The Versorgungswerk der Steuerberater im Land Nordrhein-Westfalen (StBV NRW) is a self-governing public-law pension scheme in Düsseldorf, founded in 1998; members of the Steuerberaterkammer Thüringen joined by state treaty in 2004. Its assets grew from about €3.605bn to about €3.966bn in 2025, with some 15,236 contributing members and 1,677 pensioners at end 2025. Its office also administers the Hessen, Rheinland-Pfalz and NRW psychotherapist schemes under service agreements, and manages the capital investments of the Saxony tax advisers' scheme.
