ABOUT

The Zahnärzteversorgung Sachsen (ZVS) is the compulsory pension scheme for all practising dentists in Saxony, run as a Sondervermögen of the Landeszahnärztekammer Sachsen with professional self-administration. Its investments were €1,229.0M at 31 December 2022: bonds and fixed-income securities €456.0M, equities and participations €363.0M, real-estate fund units €328.2M, registered bonds and Schuldscheine €70.2M and bank deposits €11.6M. Real estate is held only through special funds and other participation structures; one real-estate special fund gives it stakes in four gas and oil storage caverns. Its 2024 annual report says that, within participations, it committed to an impact fund for the first time, alongside other target funds.
