ABOUT
21 Invest is a European mid-market private equity group founded in Treviso in 1992 by Alessandro Benetton as 21 Investimenti, renamed 21 Invest in 2018, with offices in Treviso, Milan, Paris and Madrid and activity in Benelux since 2025. It invests in mostly family- and founder-led companies in healthcare, technology and software, specialised industrials and business services, often through buy-and-build. In February 2025 it said it had raised and managed nearly €3bn from Italian and international institutional investors across 14 funds. Since September 2026 it is part of 21 NEXT, a platform combining 21 Invest and 21 Tages that is 55% owned by Edizione.
INVESTMENT THESIS
Majority investments in resilient European SMEs and mid-caps in four sectors (healthcare, technology and software, specialised industrials, business services), creating value through organic growth, internationalisation and platform/build-up strategies alongside founders and management; 21 Invest Healthcare is an Article 9 impact fund for human and animal health and well-being with €10–15m tickets.
