ABOUT
Blue Cap AG is a Munich-based investment company founded in 2006 and listed on the stock exchange (Scale segment, ISIN DE000A0JM2M1). It acquires mostly majority stakes in B2B Mittelstand niche companies with revenues of about €20-200M and, since the end of 2023, increasingly targets special situations needing restructuring; it aims to hold for three to seven years and then sell. It uses its shareholders' capital rather than a fund and reported 2025 group revenue of €129.1M. In 2026 it acquired 100% of prepress specialist Janoschka AG (about €90M revenue, 1,500 staff).
INVESTMENT THESIS
Buy, Transform & Sell: acquire DACH B2B companies with an intact core business and clear improvement or growth potential (often in crisis, succession or carve-out situations), raise their value operationally and sell them once another owner can develop them better.
