Overview
Flexam Invest, founded in 2011, is an asset-based lending manager that finances European lower- and mid-market companies by acquiring and leasing the hard assets they need to operate, such as freight wagons, rescue helicopters and crew transfer vessels. It manages the Kartesia Asset Finance (KAF) strategy and reports €1bn of financed assets, 270 realised transactions and 20 professionals. It became part of the Kartesia private credit group in 2023. Its third fund, KAF III, targets €500M and had nearly €200M of commitments at its second close in September 2025, including €50M from the EIF.
Investment thesis
