Haitong Global Asset Management, SGOIC, S.A. (HGAM) is the wholly owned asset management subsidiary of Haitong Bank, offering funds, discretionary portfolios and private equity investments. Incorporated in 1988 as SFIR, it was renamed ES Capital (1996), Espírito Santo Capital – SCR (2003) and Haitong Capital – SCR (2015), and became an SGOIC in 2022 after CMVM authorisation in 2021. Its private-markets business comprises two venture capital funds, Haitong Private Equity Fund and Haitong United Partners Fund, and real-estate investment companies (SICs). Its 2025 annual report puts total assets under management at €301M at end-2025, mostly real-estate vehicles and securities funds rather than private equity.
