Overview

idiCo is the third-party asset management subsidiary of the listed investment company IDI, built from the private equity investment teams of Omnes Capital and authorised by the AMF in March 2023. It invests in French SMEs and mid-caps through three strategies: Lower-Mid Cap (€12M–€25M tickets in companies valued €40M–€120M, health, B2B services and tech), Small Cap (€5M–€12M, enterprise value up to €40M, B2B services, software and industry) and Private Debt (€3M–€25M in mezzanine, unitranche and flex equity). In 2024 it held first closings of €80M each for idiCo Expansion 4 and idiCo Mezzanis 4, and in June 2026 a €65M first closing of idiCo Forteresse 1, a defence and sovereignty debt fund.

Investment thesis

Minority and majority equity and bond financing for French (and European) SMEs and mid-caps in development and transmission deals (LBO, OBO, MBO, MBI, carve-out, spin-off), focused on B2B services, software/tech, health and industry, with ESG integrated into value creation; a dedicated vehicle provides mainly junior debt to defence, aerospace, cybersecurity and sovereignty SMEs.
