Overview

Infranity is a Paris-headquartered asset management company dedicated to infrastructure, founded in 2018 by Philippe Benaroya, Alban de La Selle and Gilles Lengaigne together with the Generali Group as part of the Generali Investments platform. It runs infrastructure debt strategies (core and core-plus, lower mid-market) and an infrastructure equity strategy that takes majority or co-control stakes in brownfield core-plus platforms in energy transition, digital infrastructure, decarbonised mobility and environment, water and waste. It describes itself as an affiliate of the Generali Group whose funds are typically seeded by Generali but managed independently, for more than 80 institutional investors, and it also offers an evergreen ELTIF for private wealth clients. In September 2026 it reported surpassing €15bn of assets under management, with offices in Paris, London and New York.

Investment thesis

Debt: core/core-plus infrastructure in Europe's lower mid-market (energy transition, digital, decarbonised mobility, social, environment, water and waste) with contracted or regulated cash flows, bilateral origination and a zero-loss objective. Equity: partnerships with brownfield core-plus mid-market platforms in Europe, typically held 5–8 years, avoiding competitive auctions.
