Kobus Partners Management SGEIC, S.A. (CNMV reg. no. 128, 26/05/2017) is an independent manager founded in 2016 by Pablo Guinot and Carlos García-Monzón with Pedro Diosdado and José María Basagoiti of Blue Tree Asset Management. Its funds buy and build solar PV and wind generation companies in Spain and Portugal for institutional and private-banking investors: Kobus Renewable Energy I–IV, Mapfre Energías Renovables I (Mapfre’s first renewables vehicle, first close June 2021) and Kobus Asset Finance I, a unitranche debt fund launched with Banca March. In July 2021 it stated it had channelled over €500M through its vehicles, and in September 2022 that it managed funds of more than €400M.
