Overview
Plenium Partners was founded in 2007 in Madrid and has an office in Rome. It invests its own capital and third-party money in renewable energy (wind, hydro, solar PV and CSP, storage), energy transition (district heating, biomethane, self-consumption), circular economy (recycling, waste management) and student housing, and states more than €7.5bn invested to date. Its regulated manager, Plenium Partners Asset Management, SGEIC, S.A. (CNMV reg. no. 126, 10/03/2017), runs the Helia Renovables, Ecualia Capital and VStudent vehicles, most of them in partnership with Bankinter Investment since 2017. In March 2026 the two firms agreed to integrate their managers, with Plenium’s parent taking 27.5% of Bankinter Investment SGIIC, subject to regulatory approval.
