ABOUT
Qualitas Equity Funds, SGEIC, S.A. (CNMV reg. no. 139, 23/11/2018) was founded in 2015 by Sergio García and Eric Halverson; Halverson had co-founded Qualitas Equity Partners in 2003. It runs four programmes for private, family-office and institutional investors: European lower mid-market fund-of-funds (Qualitas Funds I–VII, plus Qualitas Funds US I), co-investment funds (Qualitas Funds Direct I–III), a secondaries fund and a NAV-financing fund. US-listed P10, Inc. agreed to buy 100% of the firm in September 2024 for an initial $63M and closed in April 2025; P10 renamed itself Ridgepost Capital in February 2026. The firm reported €1,325M of assets under management at 30 September 2025.
INVESTMENT THESIS
Lower mid-market private equity in Europe (and, since 2025, North America) through specialised fund managers and co-investments alongside them, targeting profitable SMEs with €50–100M sales bought at 7–8x EV/EBITDA with 1.5–2.0x net debt/EBITDA.
