Overview
TiLT Capital Partners is a Paris portfolio management company, authorised by the AMF, that makes growth-capital investments in French and European SMEs contributing to the energy transition, especially energy efficiency and flexibility of the energy system. It was founded by Nicolas Piau, Nathanaël Krivine and Nicolas Lepareur, who previously worked at the Engie group, and has been the energy-transition platform of the Siparex group since 2021. Its TiLT Capital Fund 1 is an SFDR Article 9 growth fund with the French government's Tibi label, and 25% of the carried interest is indexed to ESG targets.
Investment thesis
Takes minority stakes (lead or co-lead) of €15–50M, more through co-investment, in growing European SMEs with turnover above €5M that contribute to the energy transition: energy efficiency, flexible generation and storage, smart grids and data analytics, and behind-the-meter solutions.
