ABOUT

Blockwall is a Frankfurt am Main venture capital firm focused on Web3, managed by Blockwall Management GmbH, a registered AIFM under the KAGB. Its first fund, Blockwall Capital I, began investing in 2018 with a token focus; Blockwall Capital II targeted Web3 applications and services, and Blockwall Capital III combines token and equity investments in a hybrid pre-seed and seed fund. Early holdings included Solana, Hedera Hashgraph, Fetch.ai and Ocean Protocol (all exited). Partner Damien Roch is Managing Director of Blockwall France.

INVESTMENT THESIS

Firm-wide 'Thesis 3.0': invest in visionary Web3 founders at pre-seed and seed, staying disciplined in fund size and stage, via closed-ended venture funds rather than a hedge-fund approach; combines early-stage token and equity investments; cites DeFi, tokenization and stablecoins as breakthrough areas and covers the whole Web3 stack, including its intersection with AI and XR.
