Overview
SocialFare Impresa Sociale S.r.l. was founded in Turin in 2013 by the Congregazione dei Giuseppini del Murialdo as a centre for social innovation; it is an incubator certified by the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy and runs the FOUNDAMENTA / Planet Foundamentals acceleration programmes and, with a|cube, the CDP national-network welfare accelerator Personae. Since 2017 its companion vehicle SocialFare Seed S.r.l. invests up to €150k in startups selected and accelerated by SocialFare, about ten a year in two batches, with follow-ons and a 10-year exit horizon. SocialFare Seed’s shareholders are FINDE S.p.A., Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo and Fondazione CRC; it reports 35 startups invested.
