ABOUT

Tech4Planet S.r.l. is the second National Technology Transfer Hub launched by CDP Venture Capital SGR, set up with Politecnico di Milano and involving Politecnico di Torino and Politecnico di Bari. CDP Venture Capital, through its Technology Transfer Fund, is the anchor investor and promoter; the November 2021 launch release cited up to €55M allocated by that fund. The hub runs a two-phase programme: Tech Incubation (proof-of-concept funding for research teams, pre-company) and Business Creation (seed investment in spin-offs and startups from the Italian research system). Its site lists A2A, Iren, Fondazione Politecnico di Milano and Neva SGR as co-investors and Eni and Snam as corporate partners.
