Overview
Baltic Business Angels Schleswig-Holstein e.V. was founded in 2018 by experienced entrepreneurs and investors on the initiative of the state economic development agency WTSH, to connect private investors with innovative startups. Its more than 50 members invest their private capital in early-stage companies and, unlike most regional German angel networks, are not limited geographically. The association states cumulative member investments of over EUR 12m since founding (its counters show 56 investments and EUR 13.71m since 2018) and is financed by membership fees and EU ERDF (EFRE) funds. It is a member of Business Angels Deutschland (BAND) and the European Business Angel Network (EBAN).
