Overview
VSM Capital SGPS, S.A. is a holding company created in May 2016 by a group of business angels to invest directly in companies committed to financial, environmental and social sustainability. It is an accredited vehicle under the FC&QC business angels co-investment line run by IFD (now Banco Português de Fomento), with financing agreements for the North and Algarve (phase 1) and for Madeira (phase 3), and was listed by Madeira's IDE-RAM with €150,000 available for SME internationalisation projects. Its site lists ten holdings, including DELAB, Finy Ventures, LESS, Organic Planet, SST and Three51, and seven registered business angels. In April 2021 it said it did not plan to add holdings, except for possible exceptions, and would focus on developing its existing portfolio.
