ABOUT
Enagás Emprende is the corporate entrepreneurship, open innovation and corporate venture capital programme of the Spanish gas grid operator Enagás. It invests in and accelerates internal and external startups in renewable gases (mainly hydrogen and biomethane), sustainable mobility, energy efficiency and digitalisation, through equity or participative or convertible loans. Its site reports 19 investments, 10 current startups, 2 funds and €125M invested; it is an LP in the Klima Energy Transition Fund and the Hy24 Clean Hydrogen Infrastructure Fund. Investment decisions are taken by Enagás’s Diversification Committee.
