Overview

IDIA Capital Investissement is a subsidiary of the Crédit Agricole group that has backed French SMEs and mid-caps for more than 30 years as an active minority shareholder, in development and ownership-transition deals of €1M to €50M across all sectors. It states that the capital it invests is the Crédit Agricole group’s own funds, committed on behalf of several group entities with a long-term horizon. It has dedicated strategies for small and mid-caps, agriculture and agrifood, the energy transition and the wine sector, and reported more than €2.9bn under management in January 2026, more than 120 portfolio companies and over 300 companies backed in 30 years. In January 2026 it launched with Crédit Agricole Assurances the evergreen fund “Crédit Agricole Assurances Avenir et Territoires” (€100M initial capacity), which it manages.
