Overview
Fides was set up in 1999 as a venture capital company (sociedad de capital riesgo) to invest in unlisted firms; after an industrial first cycle it moved to technology companies from 2007 and, since 2015, to tech firms past their initial phases. It says it invests its own money, co-investing alongside lead investors, and since 2019 also invests in search funds and VC funds such as Cardumen Deeptech Fund II, Eoniq Mediterranean Seed Fund I and Silence Fund I. In June 2024 the CNMV registered it as Fides Capital SCR SA.
