ABOUT

AUCTUS Capital Partners AG is an independent private equity firm founded by entrepreneurs in Munich in 2001; it raised its first (evergreen) fund with €8M in 2003. It says its managed fund capital of over €1bn is provided by the AUCTUS team, successful entrepreneurs and a few hand-picked German pension funds, with more than half of the capital coming from the team. AUCTUS takes majority stakes in Mittelstand companies in succession situations, buy-and-build industry concepts and corporate carve-outs, and reports more than 470 participations since 2001, about 50 active platform companies and five fund generations. It has offices in Munich, Milan (investing in Italy since 2007) and Warsaw (since 2023).
