Overview

Austral Venture Gestión is an Andalusian fund manager registered with the CNMV in 2021 and founded by Jaime Ventura Escacena, whose team comes from Everwood Capital and Banco Santander. Most of its capital sits in SCRs that take stakes in companies building and operating photovoltaic plants in Spain (Axven Energy I, Auven PV Solar Energy and, from 2025, Arven Solis Energy, which plans €20M of solar investment). In 2024 it added Austral Venture Pyme SCR, with a target of up to €5M, to invest in 20–40 early-stage startups, mainly in southern Spain, with tickets of up to €80,000 and follow-ons.
