  • Fund launched end-2024 (€10M, €15M target) financing external growth of Alpes-Maritimes and Var small companies with €300k–€1M tickets

Overview

Connect Pro is a Marseille portfolio management company that grew out of a 2007 regional transmission fund project by entrepreneurs Franck Paoli and Jérôme Borie. Its funds take mainly majority stakes in profitable SMEs of the Région Sud (PACA) with €5M–€20M revenue, chiefly in MBI successions where it installs and supports a new manager, plus development deals alongside owners and carve-outs. Its funds combine institutional investors (regional banks, insurers, CCIs) with dozens of regional entrepreneurs, and have terms of up to 13 years. It joined Turenne Groupe in 2022 and is run by Rémy Garello and Damien Garau.

Investment thesis

Majority transmission (MBI/MBO), development and carve-out deals in profitable Région Sud SMEs of any sector (€5M–€20M revenue), with hands-on support of the incoming manager and long fund lives; Boost Côte d’Azur funds build-ups of smaller companies in the Alpes-Maritimes and Var.
