Draycott SCR is a Lisbon-based alternative asset manager whose platform was launched in 2022 by João Coelho Borges and now spans four strategies: Private Equity & Growth (buy & build, mid-market buyouts, large-cap deal-by-deal and a SIFIDE II-eligible Growth & Innovation vehicle), Real Estate (residential development, hospitality, student and senior living, and open-ended income funds), Venture Capital under the Shilling brand, and Private Markets Solutions (a private equity fund of funds in structuring in 2026). In June 2026 it completed the 100% acquisition of Square Asset Management, a manager of open-ended real estate funds with over €2.7B in assets, taking the group past €3B under management. Its private equity transactions include Verescence (May 2025), Pradecon (October 2024), Purever (December 2022) and Totalmedia Group (October 2021).
