Overview
Épopée Gestion is a portfolio management company founded in 2020 by Ronan Le Moal and Charles Cabillic, authorised by the AMF in October 2020 and headquartered in Guipavas near Brest, with offices in Paris, Nantes and Bordeaux. It invests in the regions of the French Atlantic Arc through four strategies: venture capital under the Xplore brand, transition capital for SMEs and mid-caps (FPCI Épopée Transitions I and Relance bonds), infrastructure and climate funds (energy, sustainable mobility, maritime), and regional commercial real estate and hotels. It reported €819M under management at 31 December 2025 and 54 companies backed. OFI and Tikehau Capital took minority stakes of 15% and 10% in the management company in 2022, the rest being held by the founders and management.

“Réinvestir les territoires”: back start-ups (generally under €2M revenue) and SMEs/mid-caps of the Atlantic Arc in growth, transformation and transmission; finance next-generation low-carbon infrastructure (renewables, charging, biomethane, maritime); and develop regional office, logistics and hotel real estate, with an ESG-T (environment, social, governance, territory) framework and mission-company status.
