Overview

FAMAE Impact is an independent Paris management company created in 2020 out of the FAMAE endowment fund’s international environmental-innovation competition, launched at VivaTechnology in 2016. Its first fund, FAMAE Impact I, a closed FPCI for professional investors classified Article 9 SFDR and Greenfin-labelled, raised €40M (Maddyness, April 2023) and invests €1–5M in equity or quasi-equity, minority or majority, in profitable “impact native” SMEs with €5–50M revenue in energy, water, waste, mobility, agriculture and housing. In 2026 it was raising two further funds, Impact Territorial and Impact Social & Santé.

Investment thesis

Profitable, growing French and European SMEs (EBITDA positive, €5–50M revenue) whose business is the environmental transition; two new theses on heritage companies rooted in regions and on health/social impact.
