Overview

FARO Value S.p.A. Società Benefit is the Milan-based lead advisor of FARO Alternative Investments SCSp SICAV-RAIF, a Luxembourg umbrella fund launched in April 2024 for eligible investors with a stated target of about €1bn. The platform was founded by Augusto Balestra, Sergio Serra, Mario Gardini and Giancarlo Galeone; each sub-fund is advised by a specialised advisory company (Orienta Capital Partners for Real Economy, FOREL for Fashion, Luxury & Design, FNDX and SM Capital for Innovation), and FARO Value runs the preliminary investment committee. FARO Real Economy Italy: mainly majority acquisitions in Italian and European SMEs in Made-in-Italy sectors (food & beverage, manufacturing, aerospace & defence, beauty & cosmetics, healthcare, industrial machinery, engineering), about 85% Italy. Other sub-funds: fashion, luxury and design brands; Italian tech start-ups; fintech companies and US venture funds (FARO Innovation, hybrid direct and fund-of-funds).
