Overview

Auriga Partners was founded in 1998 around Jacques Chatain, Patrick Bamas and Bernard Daugeras and raised the generalist IT and life-science funds Auriga I to IV between 1999 and 2013, financing more than 120 companies with 25 IPOs and 25 trade sales (including Neolane, sold to Adobe, and Nexthink, where it remains the main shareholder). It now runs thematic funds: Auriga Cyber Ventures (cybersecurity, 2021, second vintage 2026), Luxury Tech Fund (2017), Cuir Invest (2019), Side Invest (2026), the seed fund Scientipôle Capital taken over at end-2020, and opportunity vehicles such as Auriga Opportunité Cyber (Vade).

Investment thesis

Multi-specialist model: thematic funds built with sector entrepreneurs and ecosystems in technology and life sciences, investing in start-ups and listed or unlisted small and mid caps, mainly in Europe; Auriga Cyber Ventures backs early-stage European cybersecurity and digital-trust founders only, with ACV II investing from seed to Series A/B.
