ESSEC Alumni Business Angels (ESSEC BA) is a club of the ESSEC alumni association, created in 2011, with about 50 active investor members. Members invest their own money at seed stage, typically one to three years after a startup’s creation, with rounds of €200k to €1M provided collectively, and sit on follow-up committees until exit. Since 2011 the club has operated jointly with Paris Business Angels, sharing pitch sessions, processes and due diligence.
