Clover is an early-stage fund created by Samuel Tual, president of the Laval-based staffing group Actual Group, and presented in November 2025 as a €30 million evergreen fund of the group. It writes €100–200k first checks at pre-seed and seed in startups working on the future of work and education (AI, productivity, collaboration, SaaS, HR tech, edtech, workplace health), targeting 20 to 30 investments a year in Europe and the United States. It is led by managing partner Hugo Mendes, formerly an investor at Origins; Actual Ventures, the group’s other fund, can follow on in later rounds.
