Overview

Orange Ventures is the venture capital arm of the Orange telecoms group; it took over the portfolio of Orange Digital Ventures, launched in 2015, when it became a separate legal entity in January 2021 with a €350 million allocation. It runs three streams: Global Growth (European software startups at Series B and later, tickets up to €20M), Middle East & Africa Growth (Series A onwards) and Middle East & Africa Seed (startups that have raised under €1M), plus an impact initiative for early-stage startups in France and Europe. Recent investments include Multiverse Computing (July 2026), HappyRobot (August 2026) and Biolevate (September 2026).

Investment thesis

Global Growth: European software tech startups with hypergrowth potential, Series B and above, tickets up to €20M, in AI, networks, B2B SaaS, cybersecurity, fintech, e-health, consumer, content, gaming and impact. MEA Growth: Series A onwards across the Middle East, North Africa and sub-Saharan Africa. MEA Seed: startups in Orange’s MEA footprint that have raised under €1M. Impact: early-stage startups in France and Europe working on environment, inclusion or care tech, from seed. Aims for top-tier VC financial returns with autonomous decisions and optional synergies with Orange.
