Overview
SIB Innovations- und Beteiligungsgesellschaft mbH, founded in 1999, is the equity-investment subsidiary of Ostsächsische Sparkasse Dresden and provides equity and mezzanine capital to mid-sized growth companies and start-ups in the Dresden economic region. It invests from its own funds, which come from the Sparkasse, usually through typical silent participations and open minority stakes, for growth, acquisitions, succession, equity strengthening, start-ups and restarts. It reports about €80m invested and 72 active holdings (141 in total) with 10 staff. Its team also works as a regional partner on the state-backed TGFS Technologiegründerfonds Sachsen and the WMS Wachstumsfonds Mittelstand Sachsen, both managed with CFH.

Supplies equity or mezzanine capital, alone or combined and sized to the case, to growing Mittelstand companies and founders in the Dresden region, adding sector and management experience and network access without requiring guarantees or collateral.
