Overview
Musketeers Partners was incorporated in November 2021 in San Antonio de Benagéber (Valencia), moved its registered office to Pozuelo de Alarcón (Madrid) and became a sociedad de capital riesgo in March 2023. It is the third SCR of the Baringo family, who sold Pinchos Jovi, Avinatur and Delibreads, after Aldebarán Private Equity (2019) and BG Vinculum Private Equity; José Baringo Gómez chairs it and all three are managed by MdF Gestefin, the wealth-advisory firm of José María Michavila and Daniel de Fernando (spelled “MEDF”/“MDEF Gestefin” in the source). Its director of strategy said in 2022 that it was focusing on investment in food companies, targeting SMEs with growth potential. Its 2026 CNMV prospectus names a single shareholder, Aldebaran Projects, S.L., with a €30M commitment, delegates management to Seda Capital Partners SGEIC, and sets a global, mainly OECD mandate for minority stakes in technology and innovative companies (including disruptive technology, biotech and renewables), directly or through other venture capital vehicles.
Investment thesis
Minority stakes (generally under 50%) in companies of any sector, mainly technology or innovative companies with high growth and capital-appreciation potential — such as disruptive technology, biotechnology and renewable energy — at any stage (venture capital, growth, buyout), directly or through other venture capital entities; global approach with OECD countries predominant; expected holding period of four to seven years.
